Laura Ashley, a rising singer/songwriter based in Nashville, is known for her charming, powerful vocals and engaging lyrics. Laura’s sound is a blend of contemporary pop country with a foundation in classic homegrown roots. Born and raised in Rogersville, Missouri, Laura moved to Nashville to pursue music full-time in 2020. It was through many years of vocal training that Laura's love and passion for music was developed. Laura found success by being chosen as a winner in the Dolly Parton #JoleneChallenge initiated by Julianne Hough. And while she is new to Nashville, she is not new to the music scene having opened for the likes of Matt Stell, Lindsay Ell, Carly Pearce, Danielle Bradbury, Jamie O’ Neal, and serving as an On-Air Personality for a CMA and ACM award winning country station 94.7 Today’s KTTS in Springfield, Missouri for three years. Inspired by various thought provoking moments in life, from bad experiences to breakups, Laura finds that making music helps her turn those negatives into positives.
Laura's newest single 'Tennessee Honey' is available everywhere now.
Performing for many fans at CMA Fest, this artist sure lit up the crowd at Alley Taps. Her beaming personality, sweet smile and vocal range attracted all who were there.
When Laura Ashley graduated from Logan-Rogersville High School, she didn't set out to sing her own country songs.
Nonetheless, she'll be singing them in Nashville this weekend, seeking the attention of the country-music industry.
